Oh, this line, James:

you have

no idea what kind of night someone

might be holding inside

Yes, that's it! Thank you, thank you, for the reminder of the night and the linked stars.

Beautiful poem and reflection, James, and congratulations on your book I look forward to reading! I send healing good wishes to your friend. 🙏 I'm so grateful that I have a spirit guide in the form of a scrub jay/blue jay who visits me when I need him the most. This guide helped me tremendously when I went through a period of illness.

Hello, Maya, thank you for your healing good wishes! I too have animal guides. I cannot imagine my life without them, Raven especially, but also Eagle and Bear and others. Serious illness is new to me but I am taking it as a wakeup call to a new transformation, aided by dear friend James Crews.

That’s wonderful to hear about your guides🙏🏽🙏🏽 Having gone through illness, if you’d ever like to chat please let me know.

Beautiful! Loved this part:

"we are each living, breathing stars

linked in constellations of community

that arc across the sky. Our legacy

is the light we choose to leave behind,"

Meteor shower

happening behind dark clouds.

We’re missing the show.

Light-er, possible…

’cause stars still cast light, beam bright

behind walls, fog, smoke.

Beautiful reflection, James. And I can’t wait for the books I pre-ordered. I’m going to have a couple of happy friends, and another beautiful book for myself. ❤️

We really don’t know what others are holding. What pushes back the darkness for me—right now it’s my partner reading my new book and crying. I’ve touched one person. That’s all it takes.

James, dear friend, I have just preordered two copies of The Sacred Everyday from our local bookstore in Victoria BC, Munro's Books. I notice they are now familiar with your name because I have ordered so many of your books here.😊
